THE SHOPPER APP

How do I go to the Home Screen of The Shopper App?

Tap on the "Home" button on the bottom navigation tool (far left bottom corner).

How do I add a list?

Tap on the "+" button on the top right corner of your phone. There is also a "+ ADD NEW LIST" button right in the middle of the screen. Tapping on it will start the process of creating a new list.

What do the "R" and "S" boxes mean on the right hand side of my list?

The "R" means the ingredients include items from a recipe you chose from The Recipe App. The "S" indicates the items are from The Someday App.

How do I make a "Current List" a "Saved List"?

Go to "Edit" and tap on the blue arrow next to the list you would like to make a "Saved List." You will be directed to a screen and given the option to save list to favorites.

How do I move/activate a "Saved List" to a "Current List"?

On your Saved List tap on the "+" button next to the number of items on your list to activate the list.

How do I delete a Saved list or a Current List?

Near the top of the screen, tap the Edit button. Tap on the red circle to delete the list.

What does the $ bill mean next to an item on my shopping list?

It means there is an offer or coupon available for this specific item.

What does the coupon symbol mean?

This means you have a paper coupon.

How do I indicate if I have a coupon?

To indicate you have a coupon for an item, tap on the item and you will be directed to the product details page where you can toggle on/off indicating if you have a coupon.

How do I see what I have in my shopping cart?

Scroll to the bottom of your list, and you will see a blue bar and a brown "checkout" button. On this bar on the right side you will see the number of items in your shopping cart. Below the bar you will see the actual items in your shopping cart. To clear the items (you finished shopping) tap on the "checkout" button.

How do I email a list?

Tap the "+" button at the top right corner of your screen. You will be provided a list of options including "Email List."

How do I share my list with another Mom App user?

Tap the "+" button at the top right corner of your screen. You will be provided a list of options including "Share List." Once selected you will be prompted to enter an email address of the recipient. If they are a Mom App user they will get an invite in their "Now Sharing" section. If they are not a user they will be sent an email with an invitation to download the Mom App (or supporting app).the top of the screen, tap the Edit button. Tap on the red circle to delete the list.

Can I add a picture of the item on my list?

Yes! Tap on the item on your list and you will be directed to the "Product Details" page. Scroll down and you will find a section with the text "Tap To Add Photo." Tap the text and you will be prompted to either choose from your phone or create a new photo with your camera.

How I import my recipe list to my grocery list?

When you are in The Recipe App you can choose to download a recipe to The Shopper App via the "+" symbol in the top right corner of the screen while viewing the recipe.

How can I scan barcodes?

When you are in your shopping list tap the "+" button to add a product. You will be given multiple ways to add a product including "Add using Scanner."

How do I create a new list with several items from another list?

You can merge lists or move any individual item to another list.


THE RECIPE APP

How Do I do a recipe search?

Go to top Navigation Bar and tap on search. You can search by keyword, meal type, prep time, serving size and ratings. Please note the more terms you enter, the narrower your results will be.

How do I print a recipe?

This function will be incorporated in future versions. You can email a recipe to your computer and print it that way.

How do I email a recipe?

Choose the recipe you would like to email. In the top right corner tap the "+" button and you will be given option to "Email to a Friend."

How do I post a recipe to Facebook?

Choose the recipe you would like to post. In the top right corner tap the "+" button and you will be given option to "Add to Facebook."

How do I tweet a recipe?

Choose the recipe you would like to tweet. In the top right corner tap the "+" button and you will be given option to "Tweet Recipe."

How do I incorporate the recipe ingredients in to my Shopping list in the Shopper App?

When you are in the recipe tap the "+" button on the top right corner, you will be given the option to "Add to Shopping List." Follow prompts.

How do I create my own recipe?

The Main Screen of the Recipe App has a button which says "+ Recipe". Tap on this button and follow the directions.

How do I share a recipe?

Then you are in the recipe tap the "+" button on the top right corner, you will be given the option to "Email to a Friend", "Add to Facebook" and "Tweet Recipe" or "Share Recipe." Follow prompts.

What it is the purpose of the sync button?

This button syncs with our server making sure you have the most up to date recipes.

How do I save my favorite recipes?

When you are in the recipe, tap the "+" sign on the top right hand corner. You will be provided with the option to "Add to Favorites."

How do I browse a category?

Select "Browse Recipes" from the Main page of the Recipe App.

What is the purpose of the "Share" button on the bottom navigation?

The "Share" feature of The Mom App allows you to share your favorite recipes, shopping lists, My Day schedule and Someday wish list items with individuals that are users of The Mom App application or The Mom App website.

What is the purpose of the "Shopping" button on the bottom navigation?

This button will take you directly to The Shopping App within The Mom App. If you have added recipes to your shopping cart you will see the number of ingredients in the red circle over the shopping icon. These recipe lists will be shown on the shopping app and designated as a recipe list with an "R" in a brown box.

THE MY DAY APP

How do I add a task, appointment, activity or inactivity?

There are several ways to add items to your calendar. You can hit the "+" button on the upper right hand corner. Additionally you can tap the "Add Item" on the bottom navigation. A third way, is to click on the "+" next to Tasks (checkmark), Appts (clock), Activities (clipboard) or Inactivities (clipboard with minus sign).

How do I share an item/event?

Tap on "Share" on bottom navigation. Follow prompts. Another way is when you are in the "Today" view scroll to the bottom and choose "Share My Day". Generally there is a share button within all items you can choose to share that item.

How do I email my day?

In the "Day" view, scroll to the bottom and you will be given the option to "Email Schedule for Day".

What is Days Until?

The Days Until feature is a countdown to a scheduled event (task, appt, activity or inactivity). For example, the Days Until feature will let you know you have 5 days until your presentation at work, 6 days until your son's 5th birthday and 14 days before your in-laws come visit, etc.

What are the Medical, Playdate, School, Shop and Days Until buttons in the today view?

This is another way to add a task, appt, activity and inactivity. However, this way the category will already be selected for you saving a step in the process of adding to your calendar.

THE SOMEDAY APP

How do I create a new folder?

You can do it two different ways. The first way is to scroll down your existing folders to the end and you will see a folder called "Add a Folder". Tap the "+" button on this folder and follow the prompts. The second way is to tap on "Add" on the left side of the top navigation bar of the Someday home screen. Follow prompts to create new folder.

How do I edit an existing folder?

Tap on the folder. You can add a note by tapping on the "+" symbol at the top right or via the "+ Add Item" button at the bottom of all your items in the list. Additionally, you can tap the "Edit Folder" button to change the color or title (this only applies to folders you have created).

How do I delete a note in my folder?

To delete a note in your folder you tap on the blue arrow on the note. Scroll to the bottom where you will see the option to delete a note.

How do I delete an entire folder?

Tap on the folder and scroll to the bottom and click on "Edit Folder". You will be given the option to delete a folder.

How do I mark an item as completed?

Scroll to the bottom of the item and you will see the option to "Check box when completed." Check/tap the box to designate it as completed.

What are Alerts?

If you put a due date on any of your notes you will be alerted of an upcoming due date.

How do I search for a note?

Tap on the magnifying glass and corresponding "Search" text in the middle of the top navigation bar.

Can I add a photo to an item from my existing photo library?

Yes, when you add tap on Add a Photo Note you will be directed to choose a photo from your library. You can also take a photo using your phone's camera.

THE MEDICAL APP

How do I create a new profile?

Tap on the "+" button on the upper right hand corner of the Medical App home screen.

How do I email information from The Medical App?

In The Medical App you will find an "Email" button at the bottom of the screen if the information can be emailed. Most content within The Medical App can be emailed.

Can I email my insurance information?

Definitely. See the answer above.

How did I get to the Main Screen of the Medical App?

Select the "Profiles" button in the bottom navigation or tap the back arrow on the top left hand side until you get back to the main home screen.
